INVESTMENT RESEARCH
At the center of what we do at WHFS, the Investment Research division provides analysts with rigorous training, workshops and networking events every week to help them create technical equity research reports and present them to industry professionals from the biggest firms at several internal competitions. Members have the chance to compete in the UK Finance League competition in the UK.
OUTREACH
Outreach is in charge of organizing all our amazing socials and events throughout the year. This division contains our Social Media & Marketing, IT, Newsletter and Socials departments, and is perfect for students looking to bring a creative angle to Finance”Perfect for people who love to work hard and play hard, it is also one of our most intense divisions.

CAREERS
We provide our members with speaker series and career advice throughout the year with our CV, Spring, Summer, and Cover Letter clinics. Furthermore, we invite exciting speakers from the buy-side industry to interact directly with our members regularly. We also provide networking opportunities and small-group Q+A panels for our most engaged members. This division will also launch a mentorship scheme soon.
WOMEN IN HEDGE FUNDS
The WiHF division promotes the uptake of women into the financial industry. We provide exclusive speaker, networking and CV events in order to motivate, encourage, and empower women in a male-dominated workplace. WiHF currently run a mentorship scheme with women with professional finance experience and a newsletter created by women, for women containing exclusive internship opportunities and opportunities for women.
UK FINANCE LEAGUE
The United Kingdom Finance League aims to bring together some of the most talented students from some of the best universities in the UK to collaborate in a unique finance competition. This event is co-hosted by Warwick Hedge Fund Society and Capitox, one of Oxford University's premier finance societies. Our last edition of the UK Finance League was held in the Shard where we welcomed judges from UBS, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, Lazard and many more.

PREMIERE GLOBAL INVITATIONAL STOCK PITCH
We are the founder and previous winner of the Premier Global Invitational, the world’s only global stock pitch competition. If competing in the UK Finance League wasn’t enough, we partner with the most elite Investment Clubs from Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Berkeley and Cornell, to bring the world’s best investing talent head to head. We’ve pitched to legendary investors including David Einhorn (TIME Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People”) and Monish Pabrai (Founder/MP of Pabrai Investment Funds).
